Employees are asking for transparency, flexibility, and fairness—while leaders are under pressure to stay competitive and do more with less. This session explores what it takes to move beyond legacy pay systems and design compensation approaches that are relevant, equitable, and future-ready. We’ll unpack the pitfalls of outdated models, explore modern alternatives like skills-based pay, agile benchmarking, and differentiated total rewards, and share practical ways to meet employee expectations without sacrificing governance or consistency. Drawing on research and real-world examples, participants will gain strategies for evolving their compensation frameworks to be more responsive, resilient, and people-centered.

We will share how Global Infrastructure’s experience with this framework supported deeper insights into equity and communication, illustrating how job architecture can set the stage for progress.
